Not only are the laws about CBD confusing, the hype and craziness surrounding CBD is too. As stated in previous articles, I am a curious person. In fact, when I keep seeing articles and videos on my social media stream, I want to know what it is all about. Why are people going crazy and posting things about CBD all the time?
Some of the things I read seemed like they cannot be true. Is it a scam? or does it really work. In fact, I took it upon myself to find out. Undoubtedly, with hours and hours of research, I uncovered a lot of different things. Some of these things being positive and some of them being questionable.
In fact, in this article, I would like to talk about some of the things I found. Some of them seem truthful, but other things I have to question. Did you know the government and several other trustworthy companies post their results of case studies and scientific results online? I did not know this. In fact, I found out while I was researching and began running to research results. Undoubtedly, I also kept running into case studies which were done for certain illnesses and they used CBD oils as the subject of the case study.
Why Are People So Interested In CBD Oils and CBD Products?
I was wondering this myself. I was hearing all kinds of things about CBD products. Somethings were good and some were bad. I figured I would check this out myself. I found out, CBD is an all natural substance derived from the Cannabis Sativa Plant. However, to be classified as CBD it has to come from specific parts of the Cannabis Sativa plant. In fact, CBD only comes from the seeds, stems, and flower parts. The rest of the plant is too high in THC. Do you know what THC is?
THC is the compounds which are present in marijuana. These compounds provide psychoactive feelings to the user. In other words, they produce feelings of being high. Unquestionably, these psychoactive compounds producing a high can be a problem as they can cause impairment. In fact, not only would that be a problem for the user, but to others around them too. Some people act crazy when using marijuana. They not only but them self at risk of being hurt, but the others around them too.
CBD is only allowed to contain less than 0.3% THC to be considered legal. If it contains more than that, it is essentially marijuana. In addition, there are three types of CBD which contain different parts of the plant. This helps users to be able to pick the kind which is more suitable for them. In fact, if you have problems with the THC kind, CBD is still offered in two kinds which does not contain any THC. Please, do your research before deciding to start CBD products. In addition, you should always talk to your healthcare provider. CBD can interfere with some medications. You need to know your risks.
What Are The Three Types of CBD?
As stated above, there are three different types of CBD. All three of these types are legal in all states of the United States. In fact, all three types follow all the guidelines set forth which make CBD legal. In addition, it does not matter which of the three types you choose to take. It is really all just preference of the user. There have been many good things said about each type. So, no type is better than the other. Here are the three types:
- Full Spectrum CBD – Full Spectrum CBD is the only type in which contains THC. The amounts of THC fall into the legal guidelines. In addition, not only does this type contain THC, it contains flavonoids, cannabinoids, fatty acids, and terpenes. Since this type does contain THC, there are some minor side effects that are existing. In addition, some people are sensitive to THC and might not be able to take this kind. However, if you choose to take this kind and are having trouble dealing the with sedate feeling it may cause, take it right before bed. This will help you sleep through most of the side effects. Plus, you will get a good nights sleep.
- Broad Spectrum CBD – Broad Spectrum CBD consists of almost everything the Cannabis Sativa Plant has to offer. However, it does not contain any THC. In fact, this type of CBD only contains flavonoids, fatty acids, terpenes, and cannabinoids. However, since it does still contain some of these ingredients, some side effects may still exist. You might not get the sedate feeling you get with THC. However, you may still get dry mouth, change of appetite, and nausea. In addition, some people claim, if you do feel side effects, they go away rather quickly.
- Isolate CBD – Isolate CBD is very popular among the working class. Isolate contains nothing but CBD. It does not contain any other part of the plant. It is just pure CBD. Many take this type because normally there are no side effects present. This is the best kind to take if you are working because there are no side effects to interfere with you job. The other types could possibly cause you to feel sedate. It is terrible trying to work when you feel like you are going to fall asleep every 5 minutes.
As stated above, what kind a person takes, is totally up to them. For me, I take the Full Spectrum CBD. I have really bad Insomnia, so I need something which will aid me in sleeping. It works great for me. In fact, the only side effect I have to worry about after waking up, is the dry mouth. Which is easily taken care of! I tried all three types but settled on Full spectrum just because of the sleep aid part.
