It is very simple as long as you follow the suggested guidelines. In this article, we will cover what CBD is, the three froms of CBD, What it is used for, is CBD oil legal in all states, and is CBD oil legal in Montana? The information will be easy to follow and simple to read.

What is CBD?

Is CBD Oil Legal in Montana

Cannabinoid, or CBD, comes from the hemp part of the Cannabis Sativa plant. In fact, CBD comes from the flower, stem, and seeds only. It cannot come from any other part of the plant or it will be considered marijuana. Why would it be considered marijuana? The answer to this questions is quite simple. The flower, stem, and seeds only contain low levels of THC or none at all. The rest of the plant contains high levels of THC. What is THC? THC is the chemical compound that is present in marijuana that produces that high feeling. In fact, this high feeling causes people to feel impaired. Unquestionably, this is the reason why it is still illegal in most states today.

The Cannabinoids that are extracted from the hemp plant are made into products. In fact, there is a large variety of CBD products on the market today. Unquestionably, finding the right one for you can take time. Each product has certain factors, such as how long it takes for the CBD to actually start working. Undoubtedly, the quickest one to enter your body is the tincture/oil. In fact, this is the type most scientist and case studies use. Why do they use this type? because it gives the quickest results. In fact, which product you choose is totally up to you. You can find the list of products on some of my other articles.

The Three Forms of CBD

Is CBD Oil Legal in Montana

As stated above, there are three forms of CBD oil. In fact, the three forms are full spectrum, broad spectrum, and isolate. Unquestionably, understanding the difference can be quite confusing for a new user. In fact, I was quite confused when I was trying to read what the difference was for each type. However, I will try to explain the best I can.

Type one:

  • Full Spectrum – Full Spectrum CBD contains everything from the whole plant. This includes THC, terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, and fatty acids. In fact, producers don’t do anything special for the full spectrum. They just pretty much extract it from the plant. However, keep in mind, this type does contain low levels of THC. Which means side effects will be present. However, many claim these side effects are only mild and go away with a certain amount of time.

Type Two:

  • Broad Spectrum – Broad Spectrum CBD contains part of the plant, which includes terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, and fatty acids. Note, this kind of CBD does not contain any THC. However, some people still can experience very minor side effects from this type. Why can you still experience side effects? It still contains the terpenes and cannabinoids. Producers pretty much extract this the same way, using a CO2 method, as full spectrum CBD.

Type Three:

  • Isolate CBD – Isolate version contains NO THC, no cannabinoids, no terpenes, no flavonoids, and no fatty acids. The only thing present is the chemical compound of CBD. This is the only one that is pure. In fact, this form is popular among people who have a job. Why? Because there are little to no side effects. This means they can complete their jobs without feeling sedate. Have you ever been really tired at work and feel like you cannot do your job? That would not be an idea situation. In addition, this type is good for people who are sensitive to THC and their side effects.

Hopefully, I explained the three types enough so there is very little confusing. Which type you choose is totally up to you. However, no matter what type you choose, it is suggested to start with low doses. You can start added more to the dose each day until you get to a comfortable level for you. In fact, if you are afraid of taking anything with THC in it, this type is also right for you.

What is CBD Used For?

CBD is used to help control or manage already existing health conditions. There are many types of illnesses out there that CBD can help with. In fact, I will list a few so you can can an understanding of it. However, you can also do your own research about case studies that involve CBD. In fact, there are quite a few listed on the Internet today.

  • Anti -Inflammatory – CBD is all naturally and helps manage illnesses that cause swelling. In fact, many people use CBD to help reduce the swelling of arthritis. I heard arthritis is very painful and it makes your body get inflamed, making it hard to cope with. In addition, the case studies I read says many people had improvements after taking CBD for a certain period of time.

More Uses:

  • Pain Reducer – Many people take CBD to help manage the pain from several illnesses. In fact, arthritis is very painful and needs pain management. I also read where people take CBD for really bad migraines and it seems to help.
  • Cancer – I read a few case studies that suggest CBD can be used to help shrink the invasive cells caused by cancer. However, there is not a lot of research on this to support this case study.
  • Acne – Some case studies suggest that CBD can help with keeping Acne from reoccurring. In fact, many stated their acne cleared up after a certain amount of time.

Unquestionably, that was only a few things CBD can do for you. The list is massive. There are many benefits to taking CBD. However, there are always cons to go with these pros. Certain types of CBD can produce minor side effects. In fact, how you react to these side effects depends on how your body is chemically made up.

Is CBD Oil Legal In All States?

The answer to this question should be simple. However, it is kind of complex. All states passed laws that CBD is legal. In fact, many passed the law the same year. Unquestionably, even though they passed the law stating CBD is legal, there are restrictions to this law. Each state has passed a set of bi-laws restricting on how CBD can be used. This is their way of regulating the use of CBD. If you are interested in your state laws, you should search your states website. In fact, the state website normally provides a list of names and emails. You can use this list to contact people with any questions you may have. Undoubtedly, understanding your state laws are important, especially those that pertain to CBD.

In addition, CBD is only legal in all states if it contains less than 0.3% THC. In fact, the CBD has to be grown from an industrialized hemp plant or it is not legal.

CBD oil is legal in Montana. However, state guidelines say the CBD has to contain less than 0.3% THC and made out of industrialized hemp. Some states put restrictions on what can be done with the CBD. However, I did not find any restrictions on what you can do with the CBD in Montana. In fact, a few states suggest you can make products with the CBD, but you cannot add it to food or drink. Again, this is their way of regulating the use of CBD.
